Virtual Production is changing the way films, commercials, and branded content are made — and Nextnew brings these technologies to Northern Denmark.
Our LED volume studio allows your creative team to shoot against fully rendered, real-time digital environments without ever leaving the country.
Our high end 1.9mm XR LED stage is designed for film productions and with a 99.9% DCI-P3 color gamut and an output of 1600 Nits, this volume lets you shoot at multiple locations in one day with full control.
Mountains, cityscapes, abstract environments, brand universes — all rendered with depth, light, and atmosphere that interact naturally with your talent and camera. Directors and cinematographers work with live, responsive backdrops that react to camera movement in real time, giving you on-set creative control that traditional green screen simply cannot match.
What sets it apart is the light. The LED wall does not just serve as a backdrop — it becomes a light source, wrapping your subjects in the same tones as the virtual environment. Reflections, colour temperature, and atmosphere all respond naturally. The result is a seamless, photorealistic environment where creatives can make confident decisions on set — not six weeks later in an edit suite.
For brands and advertisers, this means faster turnarounds, total creative control, and the ability to iterate on environments without ever leaving the studio. No location permits. No weather delays. No compromise.
Virtual production at Nextnew is well suited for commercial films, automotive content, music videos, narrative features, broadcast productions, and any project where environment, atmosphere, and visual ambition matter.
We work closely with each production before the shoot to prepare and optimise the digital environments for your specific project — ensuring that when your team arrives, everything is ready to go.
Talk to us about your next project and let’s explore what virtual production can do for your story.

To total resolution for the main 10x4m LED wall is 5120 pixels wide and 2048 pixels high. With a pixel pitch of 1.9mm between every pixel. If you want more information of the LED panels we are happy to share the full technical details.
Most professional cine cameras can work with the LED screen. The key is sync between the LED processor and the camera. That is called Genlock and ensures that no flickering is happening. We recommend you to contact us to be 100% sure.

Yes. One of the key advantages of virtual production is the ability to iterate in real time. Lighting conditions, time of day, colour grading, and certain environmental elements can all be adjusted on set, giving your director and DOP the creative flexibility to respond to what they see in the camera.
This is one of the strongest arguments for LED virtual production over green screen. Because the wall emits real light, reflections on cars, glass, chrome, and other reflective surfaces are genuine and physically accurate — not composited in post. The result is significantly more convincing than anything achievable with traditional VFX methods.
